This statement applies to the GROW website. It describes how accessible the site is, what we have done, and what to do if you encounter a barrier. It is separate from the Accessibility and Reasonable Adjustments Policy, which covers access to GROW programmes rather than to this website.
Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Accessibility was designed into this site rather than added afterwards.
What we have done
- Text and background colour combinations are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios
- Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and focus is always visible
- A skip link is provided so keyboard and screen reader users can bypass the navigation
- Headings follow a logical order and each page has a single main heading
- Images carry meaningful alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology
- Tables use proper header cells and captions
- Text reflows at 400% zoom and on small screens without loss of content
- Motion is reduced automatically for anyone whose device requests it
- No content relies on colour alone to convey meaning
Known limitations
Documents published as PDFs, including the briefing papers and the Policy Manual, may not be fully accessible to screen readers. The full text of every policy is also published as a web page on this site, which is the accessible route. If you need any other document in an alternative format, ask us and we will provide one.
Programme delivery, checkout and member accounts run on a third-party platform whose accessibility we do not fully control. We will help you with anything you cannot complete there.

Tell us and we will fix it or find another way to get you the information. Email support@growformula.org. We aim to respond within 5 working days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can use the Complaints Policy.
